I am a west coast visual artist working primarily in painting and printmaking. I am interested in sharing a perceptual moment and rendering complexity peacefully and harmoniously. The work is of the every day and was done during a year of solitude and isolation. "Spring Light" was painted with acrylic on paper at a meticulously slow pace and with delicate attention to colour and temperature. Through light, colour, and placement, the everyday is elevated in a quiet way that is in keeping with the subject matter.
